El Gaucho

Came on NYE... Food was unmatched. They grossly over scheduled causing a 45 minute delay in seating and an hour in between courses. Luckily our only plans for the evening was dinner!

My Husband took me here for my 40th a couple of days ago. The food was good. The prices were SUPER expensive though. I had the Steak with a glass of wine. My husband had a burger with wine as well and the bill went above $150… If you don’t mind spending then try it out. It’s a fun experience. The food and service makes up for the price.

We had our company holiday lunch here and the service and food were outstanding. It was busy, but not loud, and a great, relaxing atmosphere. I got the warm seafood salad and I couldn't even finish it. It was a steal at $23 for all the seafood. Pricier if you go for the steaks but it looks like it is worth the money! Would recommend and will go again.

I love El Gaucho. It's a very romantic, personal place to go if you want to relax and enjoy a well cooked steak for dinner. Happy hour is nice if you want a quick and elegant bite to eat at half price. The pianist is a nice touch too.

Definitely a place with attentive staff, very well put together food and excellent wine selection. Price implies a level of quality in the food above others. They are very good but not up to other top tier restaurants with similar price points.

Visited during Seattle restaurant week for lunch menu. Superb service and delicious truffle soup. It’s a pity there’s no steak on lunch menu. We were a little disappointed.

Cozy and romantic place. You can make easily your reservations online. Great place to celebrate a special occasion. The food is just delicious and the people are really friendly there. Live piano music during weekends. Parking is free, validate your ticket when you are leaving the restaurant.

Great place, atmosphere and foodWent with some co-workers for dinner and was not disappointed. The food was amazing. The side table side ceasar salad was delicious and the side tabke preparations and finishings are very good and entertaining. The staff is engaging and attentive. Unless you are just an extremely picky person I'm sure how you can have a bad experience. P.S. the chocolate cake w/ ice cream is to die for.

It's very good food, but at an expected high price. While I do like it a lot, I do prefer other places. The service here, however, is impeccable and top notch. Great for a nice night out, with great ambience and wonderful staff.

As a rule, I don't go to steak houses because I rarely find a steak as good or better than I can grill at home. Not any more!Excellent steak. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Service was exquisite, staff was incredibly amiable and suggestions were perfect. I'll go back, and will have steak!!

Food was OUTSTANDING. I would have given 5 Stars were it not that we had to wait over an hour to be served (after ordering) ~ 11PM with no advance warning. They did comp our meal and for this reason and since the food was so good I will return - hopefully I will not have to wait as long. Atmosphere excellent!, Service OK.

If you can eat this whole meal in one sitting 🥘, it’s on the house! Ha! Just kidding ... all fun and games aside, one thing I do know for certain is that El Gaucho never disappoints. Whether I’m stopping in for a martini 🍸 or a glass of wine 🍷, or a hamburger 🍔 or Cesar salad 🥗 or a yummy bowl of French onion soup, or the Happy Hour, every experience is just so consistently good! The wait staff are so friendly. They smile, they laugh with you and I jus feel at home. No drama, just super easy. Isn’t that the way it should be?

Phenomenal service and food. Truly a “six-star” experience. Great venue for special events.

Appetizers were good. Good place for group lunch. My steak felt a bit dry, even the gravy that came with it did not add any flavor. Great service.

Came for HH, Pros: wait staff was VERY attentive-wonderful service, nice ambiance they had a live piano player. Facility was clean. Salad was very goodCons: Food had no description on HH menu, I ordered the tenderloin and shrimp thinking I would get them on a plate with a garnish of sorts. Received them both in bowls almost like a soup sauce. It was a little overkill for sauce and was not the consistency or flavor of a soup. The bread they plated it with, got soggy before eating it. The restaurant does add 20% gratuity automatically. Which I hate. (I would have given 20% anyways beacause the service was excellent) I would like to be the one who decides my tip based on my experience. I don't believe customers should be forced to pay employee wages because the employer doesn't want to. I do, however, want to reward great customer service if I receive it.

One of the Northwest best steakhouse. Plenty of cocktails and top shelf bottles to sample or classic glass of wine to pair with a juicy steak or oddly satisfying ostrich. Enjoy.

Every dish except the rib-eye was great. Three of us got the rib-eye steaks (at $72/each), but while they were cooked properly, they tasted like mediocre steaks, in terms of flavor and texture. The choice rib eye steaks at Costco have more flavor and a better fat cap.The appetizers came out after a short amount of time, but it took forever to get our steaks - I think 2.5 to 3 hours.

Enjoyed our evening with a couple New Yorks and some Lobster Mac and Cheese.

Fantastic restaurant with high class environment in middle of downtown Bellevue. They have a great dinner but their happy hour is a phenomenal deal. Super great food options and well crafted drinks. They also had a great value Seattle restaurant week menu when we went

Great customer service. Their steaks are good but their other entrees are great! Had my wife's birthday here, they played happy birthday on the piano and brought her a dessert worth a candle

I very rarely am left speechless by a restaurant. From the aura, to the live pianist, to the feel of the place and even to Jeremy. The whole place was just spectacular. The room came alive with beauty and splendor. There is not a place like it in Bellevue. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and my party did as well. The service was simply amazing. Nothing but the best.

We went for happy hour on a Saturday and had a fabulous time with fabulous food. We had the Steak Frites, Wicked Shrimp, and Ribs. Our server was warm and professional. I'm so glad we stopped by. My only regret is not doing it sooner!

Great decor, vibrant ambience and excellent menu with good veg options as well. Good service, catering to customized dietary preferences. Loved the French onion soup, baked and scalloped potato, riceflower battered & lightly fried cauliflower. Table side flambe desert was an experience and great taste.

I certainly enjoy the food and customer service, great area to my home. The employees are always super nice. Highly recommended.

$35 Seattle Restaurant Week. The service was good but the food was not impressive. The atmosphere was nice though and the server was attentive. I also was not happy to find out there's a parking fee as I was leaving the parking garage on a Sunday evening.
